Born in the United States with a Southern American Decent, Roi Ramirez the Actor has been in the entertainment business for ten years.
Taking picture with known photographers Robert Kim, John Dentato, and Ace Preston…... Roi Ramirez gained insights to be part of theatre for a beneficial experience. Booking extra work when times we’re ruff in the 21st century, (911/gourndzero) Roi Ramirez has worked on HBO’s “The Wire”, and played supporting actor in productions “Anthony & Cleopatra”, and “The Italian Straw Hat”.
The experience has made Roi Ramirez stronger. Raised in Queens Rego Park, where throughout childhood his school put on productions yearly, Roi Ramirez was scouted to join his Junior high School chorus in Forest Hills. Moving to Manhattan’s off Broadway Amsterdam Avenue with his father (Vietnam veteran) Roi Ramirez went to City College to study Theatre Arts and Public Relations.
Writing a play called “Alter Real” in 2005, following his passion as an actor Roi Ramirez has dabbled at Lifeguarding, to promotions, and in an educational setting directing one act plays to Stage managing Musical for School Elective credits. Raised by his mom a flight attendant who remarried and works at a plant shop, Roi take on his family qualities and remembers how she used to sow his own clothes and hope to express this in a motion film.
